VINTAGE NOTES
A mild 2020 spring with reasonable rainfall providedexcellent growing conditions. A wet November followed bya warm and dry December and January set the vines up fora regular season. However, wet and humid conditions inFebruary created an unusual vintage with extreme weatherconditions. As a result, the 2021 vintage required extra workand attention to detail in the vineyard. This particular blockof SA Clone from Frankland River performed extremelywell, achieving optimum ripeness, which is reflected inthefinal style. The wine expresses it's varietal and regionalterroir.
